Michael is a Financial Planner with a passion for providing families and business owners with the tools to help build their financial freedom.
Michael learned many of his core values early on from being part of Judson Rockets back-to-back State Championship Football team in Converse, TX. Dedication, leadership and perseverance were ingrained during this training and were strengthened throughout his years in the US Marine Corps as a Sergeant. As a Marine, Michael was recognized from the start as the Honor Man in his platoon as well as being chosen as a Marine Corps Water Survival Instructor and a Military Operations in Urban Terrain Instructor.
Michael started his financial services career in San Antonio, TX in 2007 after owning his own personal training business. He is a small business owner, where he understands the ins and outs of running a family-owned business. He obtained his Life Underwriter Training Charter Fellow (LUTCF) in 2010 and in 2020 he obtained His Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA) designation.
Michael focuses on the following areas:
- Small business owners and professionals: doctors and business executives to other service professionals. He understands the needs in a changing environment, and it is vital to position his clients for their future.
- Individuals with retirement and estate planning needs – Tax laws may change every year. In order to play the game, one must understand the rules. Putting strategies in place for one to leverage the possibilities is vital to staying on top of the changes. *
Michael works to bring a unique perspective to the client relationship and becomes a lifetime resource for each and every client. His wife Traci and he have three children (Ian, Annabel and Sydni). They spend a lot of time traveling with them through their involvement in travel hockey and competitive dance.
